The invention relates to a round-silo cutter having a radially arranged cutting frame which carries a cutting tool. The position of the cutting frame is defined in the round silo by means of vertical supporting wheels on the silage and radial guide wheels on the silo wall. Arranged movably relative to the cutting frame is a roller feeler which is maintained in rolling contact with the silo wall by press-down means. At the same time, one of the vertical supporting wheels is vertically adjustable relative to the cutting frame by means of the roller feeler. The vertical supporting wheel inside the silo is attached to a supporting lever coupled to the roller feeler by connection means, in such a way that the cutting tool approaches the silage in the middle of the silo when the roller feeler moves radially inwards.
