WAVEFORM PROCESSOR OF TELEVISION COMPOSITE VIDEO SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To obtain a composite video signal prevented from the generation of flicker on a screen by processing the waveform so that the video signal level of a delayed reproduced signal always coincides with that of an undelayed reproduced signal. CONSTITUTION:A differential amplifier 30 compares the peak level of the video signal of an undelayed reproduced signal with that of a delayed reproduced signal and outputs an error voltage corresponding to the difference. A level- compensated reproduced signal outputted from an adder 27 superposing the output of a balanced modulating circuit 26 to the delayed reproducing signal is compensated so that the peak level of the video signal coincides with that of the undelayed reproduced signal. When the reproduced signal outputted from an output amplifier 33 is displayed on a television receiver as a composite video signal, a clear picture prevented from flicker can be obtained.
