PURPOSE:To decrease the mechanical stress, by a method wherein the print image read from a memory is vertically shifted each vertical axis according to a fixed printing paper feeding speed and supplied to a printing mechanism so that the print image may be horizontally printed. CONSTITUTION:For the print image from an input terminal 5, some vertical lines thereof are temporarily stored in a memory 1 with a control part 2, read and devided by the straight line of theta in inclined angle to the horizontal direction and at an interval of L1 in unit print length of a print mechanism 3. Further, they are divided by the vertical lines at an interval of L2 in horizontal direction resolution, calibrated by its inclined angle of theta and successively supplied to the print mechanism 3. On the other hand, because a printing paper 10 is fed at a fixed speed with a printing paper delivery mechanism 4, it becomes of oblique band state to the horizontal direction. If the printing paper is fed only by L1 during both the one line printing time and the line shifting time, it can be continuously printed without both gap and overlap. Thus, the mechanical stress of the printer can be decreased. |
