The pistol with a magazine fitted vertically underneath, ahead of the trigger, has an outer gripping layer at the top of the butt (10) moulded in one piece with the breech housing (2). This incorporates a cartridge ejection opening (14) above the breech, and extends to enclose the front sight (8) and back sight (9). The mechanism controlling advance of a cartridge from the magazine into the breech is operated by a tensioning member (11) with a plate (10,11) projecting each side of the barrel. Between them are two arms (15,16) forming a connection with the breech block. The tensioning member is also interconnected with the return spring which is outside the barrel. |
