<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a downward curled paper from being jammed between the side guide of a paper tray guide and a chute in a feeder in an electronic copying machine, by additionally providing a guide section between a gap between the side guide and the chute. CONSTITUTION:A guide section 7 is arranged between a side guide 2 for a paper tray 1 and a chute 5. Due to rotation of a feed roller 3 a downward curled paper is transferred along the guide section 7 onto a retard belt 4 after passing through the side guide 2, and therefore, is prevented from being introduced into between the side guide 2 and the chute 5.</p> |
