A fitting connection between two housing parts, especially a crank case and a bearing cover for the crank shaft bearing of an internal-combustion engine, is described having two fitting holes in each housing part and having guide pins which are inserted therein. In order to prevent the play of the guide pins in the fitting holes, which results from manufacturing tolerances, the guide pins have inclines in one subelement, especially outline surfaces of a truncated cone, whose maximum radial separation at the lower tolerance limit is greater than the diameter of the fitting holes (into which these subelements project) at the upper tolerance limit, so that contact always exists between the guide pins and the fitting holes. The invention is used in particular in the case of bearings whose roundness must be ensured even after dismantling and reassembly.
