PURPOSE:To attain the effective protection of an internal electrode circuit against the electrostatic charge and the surge and to improve the reliability of an information processing card, by connecting a surge protection device between part of signal terminals or part of this terminals and an earth terminal. CONSTITUTION:A thin plate type conductor 8 is adhered to a support component element 7 with a conductive adhesive 9, and an IC10 is adhered to the conductor 8 with the adhesive 9. In addition, signal terminals 2 and 3 are adhered to the conductor 8 with the adhesive 9 via internal wiring conductors 16 and 17 and a surge protection device 19. In such a way, signal terminals 3-6 are also treated. In such constitution, if the electrostatic charge or the surge is applied to an optional one of terminals 2-6, the voltage between the relevant terminal and an earth terminal 1 is limited by the breakdown voltage of the device 19. Thus the IC10 is protected. In such a way, the reliability of an information processing card is improved extremely. |
