Ophthalmic lens trimming method for spectacles, involves completing edging of lens` edge by using edge finishing grinding wheel with beveling gorge and by finishing machining of bevel, and edging edge by rough grinding machining of bevel

The method involves rough edge grinding an edge of an ophthalmic lens with a rough circular edge, by using an edge roughing grinding wheel (50), mounted rotatively around a rotation axis (A3), where the wheel has a beveling gorge (70). Edging of the edge of the lens is completed by using an edge finishing grinding wheel (55) that comprises another beveling gorge (75), mounted rotatively around the axis (A3). The lens` edge is edged by rough grinding machining of a bevel. The edging of the lens` edge is completed by finishing the machining of the bevel. An independent claim is also included for a device for trimming an ophthalmic lens with a circular edge.
