PURPOSE:To enhance accuracy of folding and cutting through accurate catch and conveyance of the web by installing pitch bands consisting of elastic members on the surface of one side of the folding drum for the captional apparatus which folds laterally or cuts the web. CONSTITUTION:The plural arched pinch bands 36 consisting of elastic members and curving at the radius of curvature slightly larger than the radius of curvature of the folding drum 34 are circumferentially installed on the outer peripheral surface of the folding drum 34 at a given interval toward the longitudinal direction of the folding drum 34. A rotary shaft 50 for folding drum 34 is insertedly arranged so that some gap may be held against the frame 32 through an eccentric sleeve 54, and the rotary shaft 50 is eccentrically moved in tolerable gap of the sleeve 54 by the hand-operating handle 68. Thus the space of another folding drum against the folding drum 34 may be adjusted in accordance with thickness of the web. |
