PURPOSE:To offer a measuring equipment for a color cathode-ray tube by which more accurate picture characteristics are adjusted quickly and easily by designing that the entire pattern and a magnified image of a major local part are observed at the same time. CONSTITUTION:Each cross point 8 of an image guide holder 6 is aligned by an outer package size of a color cathode-ray assembly 2 by touching an elastic pad 7 of the image guide holder 6 comprising the elastic pad 7 in matching with the display screen peripheral shape of the color cathode-ray tube assembly 2 integrally and having a mounting part of the image guide to the lattice form cross points to the display screen of the cathode-ray tube assembly 2 to be measured. The image guide holder 6, except the cross points 8, is connected mutually with thin members (ribs)9 nearly vertical to the display screen of the cathode-ray tube to be measured, and the display screen of the color cathode-ray tube assembly 2 to be measured is observed by visual inspection except parts where the ribs cover the display screen.
