PURPOSE:To prevent a hoop end face forming an endless carrier from being damaged, by rounding the outer peripheral ends of belt engaging surfaces of a V-like cross-sectioned shape circumferential groove formed in a V-shape pulleys. CONSTITUTION:A V-shape pulley assembly 10 consisting of a stationary pulley 11 and a movable pulley 12 is formed therein with belt engaging surfaces 11a, 12a each having an outer peripheral end 11b, 12b which is an arcuate shape or a smooth circular curved line shape. Accordingly, even if the outer peripheral ends 11b, 12b interfere with an endless carrier in a V-belt 20, the interference offers a smooth contact condition, thereby it is possible to prevent a hoop end face forming the endless carrier 22 from being damaged. |
