PURPOSE:To provide a roll paper holder which comprises a paper take-out opening disposed on the upper surface thereof, a rotary shaft and a saw-toothed cutter which are disposed at the middle portion of a roll paper receive tray, and a safety plate disposed in such a manner as to slightly press the edge of a blade of the butter, wherein the safety plate is adapted to cut paper with paper pressure and also serve as a safety plate at the time of closing the receive tray. CONSTITUTION:A curved roll paper receive tray 1 is opened to put a roll paper therein, with the terminal end KT of a roll paper K drawn out a little from a paper take-out opening 9, and closed to be adsorbed and fixed. In case of drawing out and using the paper K, the terminal end KT of the paper is grasped and pulled toward you for the required amount. At this time, a safety plate 16 elastically pushed in parallel to a saw-toothed cutter to cover the cutter is let down forward by pressure of the paper K, and the paper KT is strongly pressed to the saw-toothed cutter 1a to be cut. Simultaneously, the safety plate 16 is restored to its original state by a spring to function as a safety plate. |
