PURPOSE:To prevent metallic sound from being generated due to impacts and corrosion resistance from being deteriorated due to rusting, by a method wherein a shaft molded from a bulk molding compound (BMC) is covered by a rubber material. CONSTITUTION:A BMC obtained by incorporating a reinforcing material into a blended resin prepared by dispersely mixing a thermoplastic resin into a matrix of an unsaturated polyester resin is molded to form the shaft 4, which is then covered by a rubber material. The sound generated by an impact on the molded BMC body is in a low frequency region, and generation of a standing wave in the shaft body can be prevented by setting the length of the body to be relatively small, so that harsh metallic sound is prevented from being generated, and the musical scale and volume of the impact sound can be lowered. In addition, since the shaft body molded from the BMC by injection molding or the like also has excellent corrosion resistance, the rubber obtained by covering the shaft body by a rubber is light in weight and is free of danger of corrosion due to rusting. |
