PURPOSE:To easily brush and wash a large-size aircraft with an extremely high degree of efficiency to greatly reduce the time and labor of washing work for the aircraft body, by providing a washing head which is tiltably and laterally oscillatably held at its rear section, at the front end of an arm. CONSTITUTION:A washing device has a travelable and steerable carrier A, and a support column B standing on the carrier A, telescopically in the vertical direction. A vertically rotatable telescopic first arm C is attached to the front end part of the support column B, and a telescopic second arm D which may be turned upward about the center axis of the arm C is attached to the front end of the arm C. A washing head F which is tiltably and laterally oscillatably held at its rear section, is attached to the front end of a third arm E attached to the front end of the arm D at a right angle.
