PURPOSE:To test the nature of a paving material for a road accurately by applying a load moving only in one direction with a one-way movement mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The sample as illustrated is that a wheel 2 moves only in one direction rotating naturally with the circulation of a chain 5. In the wheel 2, a desired disc-shaped load 3 is applied to a wheel shaft 4. As a gear 6 rotates, the chain 5 circulates only in one direction and as the shaft 4 of the wheel 2 is fixed on the chain 5, the wheel 2 moves only in one direction rotating naturally with the movement of the chain 5. With one circulation of the chain 5, the wheel 2 makes one circulation in repetition. Since the load 3 is applied to the wheel 2, with the rotary movement of the wheel 2, the load of the wheel works on a sample body 1 as one-way moving load. |
