PURPOSE:To provide a resin compsn. which can greatly reduce surface resistance and impart excellent antistatic properties to resin products when applied to their surfaces and whose coating film is transparent, by blending a specified polyether polymer and an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal with a resin. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. contains 100pts.wt. resin (a), 1-20pts.wt. at least one polyether polymer (b) selected from among a polyalkylene glycol, a polyalkylene glycol ether and a polyalkylene glycol ester and 10-200pts.wt. (per 100pts.wt. said polymer) at least one metal salt of an inorg. acid selected from among alkali metal salts and alkaline earth metal salts of inorg. acids. Preferred examples of the polyether polymers are polyethylene glycol and polypropylene glycol having a weight-average MW of 10,000 or above, because the resin compsn. contg. the same gives a coating film having excellent transparency and strength.
