PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily and rapidly interpret an analytical result, by cyclically changing over various ionization methods to perform mass scanning at every ionization method and displaying the mass spectrum thereof on one picture in a real time at every ionization method. CONSTITUTION:The ion emitting orifice and the electron incident orifice of the ion source IS of a mass spectrometer are changed over by the order of a computer to perform the changing-over of an EI method, a CI method and a negative ionization method. The data of a chromatogram are obtained by sampling outputs of a total ion detector TI at constant time intervals by the computer to store the same in memory CRM. The data of a mass spectrum by the EI method are stored in memory EIM, ones by the CI method in memory CIM and ones by the negative ionization method in memory NIM. The data stored in these memories enter image memory VTM and the address of the image memory is scanned by a display apparatus controller TVC and the content thereof is read to obtain an image signal which is, in turn, displayed on the same picture of CRT. |
