The horseshoe has a bottom plate bearing against the underside of the hoof and from which a collar extends upwards and inwards, bearing against the hoof wall outside. - The shoe is of plastic, heat-shrunk from a first large size (15), in which state the hoof is placed on it, down to a predetermined smaller one (16) in which it grips the hoof by means of the collar.(1) |
