A hydraulic system for vehicles, particularly the working hydraulic system for fork-lift-trucks and the like, is provided with a suction-regulated booster pump (1) with load devices (5, 6) connectable by pilot valves (5a, 6a) and with a pressure limiter (11). In the supply direction, before the booster pump (1), there is arranged a governor valve (3) and a flow measuring restriction (7) is provided after the pump (1) and before the pilot valves (5a, 6a), the effective piston surfaces for the pressure difference created by the measurement restriction being of the same value in the governor valve (3) which is switchable as a function of the pressure difference with a closure spring on the passage or in the closure direction.
