PURPOSE:To reduce the number of demodulating/modulating circuits to one to simplify the constitution by constituting a device having the dubbing function so that the modulated signal detected by a read head is recorded on a magnetic disc through a write head as it is. CONSTITUTION:When picture information recorded on one magnetic disc is dubbed on the other magnetic disc, the modulated picture signal detected by a read head 5 passes a head amplifier 6 and is subjected to required signal correction in a correcting circuit 32 without being demodulated and is inputted to a recording amplifier 12 and is recorded on the magnetic disc by write heads 13 and 34. When the reproduced signal is outputted to the external, a switch SW attached to a demodulating/modulating circuit 31 is turned on to operate this circuit 31 as a demodulating circuit, and the output of the head amplifier 6 is outputted as a video signal to the external through a route indicated by solid lines. When the input signal from an input terminal 33 is recorded, the switch SW is turned off to operate the demodulating/modulating circuit 31 as a modulating circuit, and the input picture signal is recorded on the magnetic disc through a route indicated by broken lines by heads 13 and 34. |
