PURPOSE:The titled composition that contains sucrose fatty acid ester for oral purpose, thus having powerful antibiotic action and a wide range of antibiotic spectra. CONSTITUTION:A cephalosporin compound such as cephazolin, cephapirin or cephamaridine of the formula (R is a 5-6-membered heterocyclic ring containing S, N and so on; R1 is 1-6C straight or 3-6C branched alkyl; R2 is H, Cl, methyl, methoxy; R3 is H, salt or protecting group for carboxyl) is combined with a sucrose fatty ester, preferably of 10 or more HLB at a weight ratio of 0.01-50, preferably 0.1-5 and they are suspended in water or a phosphate buffer solution to give the objective composition for oral purpose. It can be administered in the form of suspension or can be converted into granules, capsules or tablets. It shows improved absorption acceleration in any preparation forms.
