PURPOSE:To obtain colored copies excellent in granularity, by developing the electrostatic latent image of a colored original correspondingly color-separated in the order of magenta, cyan, and yellow toners and, at the same time, setting the particle size distribution of each colored toner in specific ranges. CONSTITUTION:A colored original on a platen 1 is image-exposed onto a photosensitive drum 3 rotating in the direction shown by the arrow through a green filter by an optical system 2 and the electrostatic latent image of the original is formed on the photosensitive drum 3 which has been electrostatically charged by an electrifier 4. Then the latent image is developed by the 1st developing device 5 with magenta toner and the magenta image reaches a transfer roll 8 and transferred onto a transfer paper. By successively developing latent images successively formed on the photosensitive drum through a red and blue filters with cyan and yellow toners, bad influences due to deterioration of the latent images can be eliminated. |
