PURPOSE:To increase energy saving effect and eliminate cold draft in a cold district in winter by a method wherein a solar heat absorbing device is provided near the entrance of an air supplying path and ventilation is effected after preheating supplying outdoor air by this device and exchanging heat between exhausting indoor air by a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:The outdoor air enters into the solar heat absorbing device 6 through the suction port 7 thereof, is preheated in the same device 6 by the solar heat and is sent into the heat exchanger 3 by an air supplying fan 13 through the delivery port 8 of the solar heat absorbing device, a duct 9 and an outdoor side suction port 10 provided on the outer casing 1. The same air receives heat energy in the heat exchanger 3 from the indoor air passing through an exhaust air path, thereafter, is supplied into the room through an indoor side blow-off port 14. Accordingly, the cold outdoor air is preheated once in the solar heat absorbing device 6 by the solar heat and is supplied into the room after effecting heat exchange in the heat exchanger 3 between the warm indoor air, therefore, the temperature of the outdoor air is being brought into a condition near a room temperature substantially.
