PURPOSE:To automatically align and store cut slat and to facilitate transportation and storage by receiving a cut slat in an axial horizontal line groove of a drum and rotating the drum to drop the slat on the lower storing portion. CONSTITUTION:A slat aligning apparatus B is so constructed that a slat 10 fed out by a discharge roller 9 is received in a line groove 14 of a drum 12, and on completion of all working steps, the drum is rotated in 45 deg. arc by a motor, with the slat received, to store the coming slat in the next line groove 14. The thus received slat in the line groove 14 is aligned and stored in a slat storing box 11 disposed below the drum 12 when the line groove 14 takes a position right above the box. When the working for a desired number of slats is completed, the storing box is detached from below the drum to be transported or kept. |
