<p>PURPOSE:To reduce scattering of recorded density, by a method wherein electric power is impressed on a group of heating resistor elements in a thermal head, while trimming the heating resistor elements which have a higher resistance. CONSTITUTION:When the energy (electric power) impressed on each of element resistors (heating elements) 3 provided in the thermal head 1 is increased, the resistance R of the resistor 3 decreases from point X, and rapidly increases after passing through point Q. A level of energy in the range of E0-EP is impressed on the element resistors having a higher resistance, thereby trimming. Normal recording is effected by impressing energy of not greater than E0.</p> |
