The horse shoe stop can be made of fibre reinforced concrete, concrete, plastics, wood, or synthetic material. It is placed around a starter bar extending from a base slab so that its rear is approximately aligned at the required shuttering position. - The interior of the horse shoe is filled with rapid setting or ordinary mortar and can allow adjustment to the nearest mm of the shuttering. Several hours later the stop has a precise and solid bedding.
