Component assembly for making display units for various articles in stores or exhibition halls, comprising latticed vertical panels capable of being assembled together. This assembly comprises panels 1, consisting of a frame 2 made out of wood or a similar material, between whose sides a grid 3 made of metal wires is hung and whose vertical sides 2a, 2b are provided with assembly members 4a, 4b acting as articulated hinges. Combined with these panels, there is provided a series of presentation components for various articles, each comprising a vertical fixing plate 15 or 20, provided with an upper anchoring edge 16, 20 capable of engaging over one of the horizontal wires of the grid of a vertical panel 1. These components can be assembled in various ways to make up display units or similar furniture for the presentation of various objects. <IMAGE>
