Hook-lever fastening for flaps of motor vehicles, in which the hand lever is arranged pivotably on the baseplate and the hand lever can pivot about an axle pin, there being arranged on the hand lever pivotably about an axis a retaining lever carrying a retaining nose which, in the closed position of the hand lever, engages into a slot which is part of a recess in the base plate, the recess allowing a curving movement of the retaining nose which occurs during the movement of the hook-lever fastening into the open position.
