PURPOSE:To improve the reliability by detecting an error byte position of each data block in a frame,and correcting an error. CONSTITUTION:When storage processing of data is executed, a CPU generates checking CRC data at every data block from read data of a read data storing area A1, and stores this CRC data in a checking CRC data storing area A4 in accordance with a checking CRC pointer P4. In this state, this generated checking CRC data is compared with CRC data which has been stored in a CRC data storing area A3, at every corresponding block, and an error block is detected. If the contents of the CRC data are different, it is decided that there is an error in its block, and in case when there are two or more error blocks, it is impossible to correct the error, therefore, a CMT is rewound by the number of frames which have been read, and reading of the same part is executed again. In case when an error has been generated in one data block, its error correction is executed. |
