PURPOSE:To settle a float without damaging by packing sand into a space surrounded by the bottom of the steel float, the inner surface of skirt, and the ground under water. CONSTITUTION:A dock 1 is settled horizontally by charging water through a water supply and discharge path 6 into it, and landed on the ground E by cutting a skirt 5 projected from the bottom of the dog 1 into the ground E. Fluidized sand 10 from a shaft 7 is flowed into the lower side of the dock 1 to replace water in the space surrounded by the bottom of the dock 1, the inner surface of the skirt 5, and the ground E. The heaved portion of the undulated ground E is not touched by the bottom of the dock 1, and reaction from the ground E is dispersed by the sand 10 layer to support the bottom of the dock 1, so that the bottom is protected from damage. |
