PURPOSE:To apply efficiently large liquid resistance and to minimize leaking current as far as possible by dropping the liquid discharging from a bipolar salt electrolysis cell of an ion exchange membrane type through the insertion pipes on the side faces of each dropping plate and through the dropping plates into a receiving cell in the form of drops for each of the respective unit electrolytic cells. CONSTITUTION:Plural droppng plates 4 which are inserted therein with perforated insertion members 11 and have plural dropping holes 9 exist respectively independently without being electrically connected to each other in the upper part of an integrated liquid receiving tank 7. The plates 4 and insertion pipes 2, 5 which are inserted therein from the side faces thereof, are connected from unit electrolytic cells and are provided by one for each of the plates 4 exist dividedly from the respective tanks 6 and are united to one unit in the stage of use. The liquid contg. gas and the liquid discharged from each unit electrolytic cells flow through the pipings 2, 5 to the plates 4 where the gas is separated and is discharged through an outlet 3. On the other hand, the liquid passes through the holes 9 and falls in the form of drops into the tank 7 by which the drops are parted and large liquid resistance is applied thereto. |
