PURPOSE:To adhere an oil and fat content to a narrow range within a body so that it can be washed away by means of the low number of spray nozzles, by a method wherein a plurality of baffle plates are installed to the inner wall of the body in a manner that the forward end thereof is slanted downward, and an auxiliary baffle plate, extending vertically upward, is attached to said forward end. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust fan 22 is located on a body 21, a suction port 23 is formed in the lower front thereof, and a gas guide plate 24 is located to the upper end of the suction port 23. Baffle plates 25 are alternately attached to the surfaces, positioned opposite to each other, of the inner wall of the body 21 so that the plates are slanted obliquely downward, and the baffle plate 25 positioned in the vicinity of the suction port 23 is provided at its forward end with an auxiliary baffle plate 25a extending vertically upward. Cooking oil gas is sucked through the suction port 23 and the flow direction thereof is curved by means of the baffle plates 25 within the body 21 in a way that the flow of the gas is curved, in order, by the forward end of the baffle plate 25 in the vicinity of the suction port 23, and the auxiliary baffle plate 25a, and are further curved by the baffle plate 25 located thereabove. This enables an oil and fat content in the oil gas to collide with the inner wall of the body 21 and be adhered thereto for removal. The oil and fat content remaining within the body 21 is washed away through repeated injection of a washing solution through a spray nozzle 27. |
