PURPOSE:To keep off any output drop in a low-speed revolution range, by connecting a resonator pipe to a scavenging passage or the like, while reflecting a pressure wave immediately after the open of a scavenging port, being led into the inside of the resonator pipe, and discharging it to a crank chamber immediately after the open of a reed valve as an antiphase pressure wave in the low- speed revolution range. CONSTITUTION:When a piston goes down as fuel is exploded inside a cylinder 1, an exhaust port 4 is opened and after combustion gas is discharge out to an exhaust passage 5, a scavenging port 6 is opened whereby fuel gas preloaded inside a crank chamber 3 is filled up inside the cylinder 1 via a scavenging passage 7. And, with the piston made to go down, the inside of the crank chamber 6 is com pressed and at the same time an exhaust pressure wave reaches the crank chamber 3 and the inside of a resonator pipe 10 by way of the scavenging passage 7. In this case, at the inside of the crank chamber 3, since pressure goes up again after it once went down, its timing is adjusted to this rerising time, and an antiphase pressure wave is discharged out of the resonator pipe 10, and length of the resonator pipe 10 is set up so as to check a pressure rise inside the crank chamber 3. |
