PURPOSE:To execute exactly and quickly an area division by determining in advance a component number to be propagated of the time when a picture component is fused, and writing forcibly its component number in the other picture memory, when executing an area division of a picture propagation. CONSTITUTION:A CPU controls a control circuit 1, sets a picture memory 2 to an input state by sending a control signal to a transfer means 4, and holds a picture memory 3 in an ouput state. Subsequently, read-out of each one picture element is executed from the picture memory 2. The read-out picture element is transferred to a line buffer 5 of a data processing means 11 through the transfer means 4. A comparator 7 compares a reference signal sent successively from a data holding circuit 8, with a component of each picture element sent from a parallel converter 6, and sends out an output to the data holding circuit 8. An output of the circuit 8 is sent to an address generating circuit 9, and an address of a look-up table is determined. When the address is determined, its component number is written in a prescribed address of the picture memory 3. |
