The invention relates to a goniophotometer having an arm which can be rotated about a first horizontal axis and to which there is assigned a cantilever, angled at a right angle, which can for its part be pivoted by 180 DEG about a second horizontal axis and on the free end of which there is provided for a light source a holder which can be rotated about a vertical axis, and having a mirror, which can be rotated about the first horizontal axis and is inclined by 45 DEG and in whose optical axis a photometer which measures the light intensity is arranged. In order to achieve by means of this device both accurate measurement of light fluxes and accurate measurement of light intensity distributions, it is proposed according to the invention that a second photometer (12) can be used to measure the light flux in the vertical axis (8) of the holder of the light source (6). <IMAGE>
