PURPOSE:To attain the forming of plural abbreviated words in a series of operations by inputting and storing a separating symbol separating a document data and an abbreviated word so as to form the abbreviated word by the same operation as that of the forming of a normal document. CONSTITUTION:When key information inputted from a keyboard 1 is a key designating the registration of abbreviated word, a code discriminating section 3 gives the control to an abbreviated word registering and control section 9. Whether the content of a document buffer 5 is coincident with the registered form of abbreviated word is checked at first, and when they are coincident, a data is extracted from the head of the document buffer 5 so as to discriminate the head letter of the abbreviated word. The data is stored to a position in an abbreviated word buffer 10 corresponding to the confirmed character next, the processing is repeated until the content of a sentence buffer 5 is all processed out, and when the processing is finished, the control is taken over to an auxiliary storage registering section 12, which gives a corresponding name to each group divided minutely in an abbreviated word buffeer 10 and stores sequentially the result to an auxiliary storage section 13 when a control request is a request from the abbreviated word registering and control section 9. |
