PURPOSE:To obtain an optical molded article usable for transferring few-micron- sized bits almost perfectly by incorporating a specified amt. of satd. univalent fatty acid monoglyceride in polycarbonate. CONSTITUTION:An optical disc can be obtained with high yield by incorporating 0.01-0.2pts.wt. of a satd. univalent 16-22C monoglyceride in 100pts.wt. of polycarbonate having an average mole weight of about 12,000-19,000 obtained by the interface polymerization of bisphenol and phosgen, molding this mixture by the injection or injection-compression molding process, and using this optical molded article. |
