The continuous-flow heater for heating liquids with the aid of combustion waste gases consists of a housing with jacket, bottom and lid, with at least one tubular heating coil for the liquid arranged spirally in the region of the jacket, and with a burner arranged in the bottom region, to which preheated combustion air is supplied. In order to improve the utilisation of the waste gas heat and at the same time to reduce the technical expenditure, the housing is to be arranged in a hood which serves as air-preheater and which has an air inlet above the lid and an air outlet in the region of the bottom for the preheated combustion air which is to be supplied to the burner. <IMAGE> |
