PURPOSE:To carry out the dyeing of a large amount of cherry fruits in one stroke without necessitating labor, and to improve the operation efficiency and productivity, by supporting a cherry-bob with a vertical plate, tilting the plate to dangle one of the fruits, and dipping the dangled fruit in a dyeing liquid. CONSTITUTION:The wire 8 of the scraping device 2 is rotated and transferred downward along the screen 3, and the cherry-bob caught to the screen 3 is scraped out and pushed with the wire 8 toward the downstream of the screen 3. A conveyor 5 for collecting the cherry-bob is placed under the delivery end of the screen 3 to collect the cherry-bob pushed with the wire 8 and dropped from the end of the screen 3. After classification, the cherry-bob 6 is transferred to the boiling process and optionally to the dyeing process. The cherry-bob transferred to the conveyor 9 is supplied from the feeding part 16 to the dyeing bath 17 and dipped in the dyeing solution. The plate 24 is held vertically at the feeding part 16, and the cherry-bob dropped on the plate 24 directing the junction 27 of the stalks upward straddles the plate. The cherry-bob 6 straddling the plate 24 is transferred continuously by the circulation of the chain 14, and sent to the dyeing bath 17. |
