PURPOSE:To prevent the drop-out and collapsed twist of strands and to obtain a circular twisted wire by twisting successively strands in strand parts which are divided into several stages around the central wire and are different in twist pitch by turning in the same direction to form the first-twisted wire and twisting the outermost layer strand by a second twisting and aggregating machine. CONSTITUTION:Strands W1-Wn-1 are successively twisted in strand parts 2-5 which are divided to several stages 2-5 around the central wire W0 and are different in twist pitch by turning in the same direction (arrow) to form the first- twisted wire. The outermost layer strand Wn is restrained by a wire dividing disc 7 and is twisted by a second twisting and aggregating machine 9. The drop- out and collapsed twist of the strands are eliminated and the good circular swisted wire is obtd. |
