PURPOSE:To enable to manufacture effectively a cushion material having favorable manual pressure function, by a method wherein an elastic foam is compressed partially by pressing the same by a pair of nozzles provided coaxially on both sides of the elastic foam and liquidized resin is impregnated to the compressed part of the elastic foam from the one side nozzle. CONSTITUTION:When a profiled elastic foam 20 is mounted at a predetermined position on a set mold 19a of a stand 19 and the stand 19 and a storage box 14 are moved upward, an elastic foam 20 is compressed between a suction nozzle 11 and a spouting nozzle 13. Then when a vacuum chamber 16 in a negative pressure box 12 is made into negative pressure and pressure of the suction nozzle 11 is set up lower than that of the spouting nozzle 13, liquidized resin L.P in the storage box 14 enters into the compressed part of the elastic foam 20 from the spouting nozzle 13, and flows into the suction nozzle 11 further. Then the inside of the vacuum chamber 16 is pressurized and the liquidized resin L.P in the suction nozzle 11 is returned to the inside of the storage box 14. When the liquidized resin which has been impregnated into the elastic foam 20 is made to foam or cure, a hard part 20b continuing from one face of the ealstic foam 20 to the other face of the same is formed. |
