The invention relates to the electrical wiring of a cartridge heater which uses infrared-radiation tubes 3. Each tube 3 is carried, at its ends, by a cross-member 23 to which it is fixed, in an insulating fashion, by ceramic washers 21 and 22. Electrical collectors 24, carried by the insulating plate 7, run alongside the internal edges of the framing chassis 2. Only the ends of the collectors 24 are connected to a supply cable. Application: standardised wiring of a cartridge heater, without having to use external terminal blocks or boxes. <IMAGE>
