<p>Spacer, for introduction into an intermediate space between a borehole liner pipe and a prod. discharge pipe in order to be able to retain a control pipe therein, comprises a body which is to be placed round a discharge pipe and has an outer surface and an inner surface capable of being brought into contact with a discharge pipe as well as a resiliently deformable part, which is provided with a recess opening into the outer surface and in which a control pipe can be arranged by resilient deformation thereof. It meets the desirable requirements of a spacer for preventing damage to control pipes running from the surface to control valves or other safety equipment in productive oil or gas wells. It is suitable e.g. for prod. discharge pipes of different dias. and is able to hold control pipes firmly and to accept them radially.</p> |
