"Insulation/cladding slab" linings of the type consisting of a panel formed from a slab made from an insulating material, for example expanded polystyrene, onto one of the faces of which is adhesively bonded a cladding slab, especially plasterboard. The said panel comprises integrated battening consisting of a plurality of battens 7 fixed to the panel in a zone of the latter going from the surface 3 of the cladding slab in contact with the insulating material 2 to the surface 5 of the slab of insulating material furthest away from the cladding slab. These insulating linings stiffened by the battening can be laid onto support elements, especially roof rafters (trusses) or dormer-window truss beams, regardless of the spacing of the latter. <IMAGE>
