PURPOSE:To prevent a wire from breaking due to concentration of an electric current in a specific electrified part, by respectively separately giving each electric current, output from plural electric discharge machining pulse generating parts, to a gap through plural electrified parts. CONSTITUTION:A machine, providing the first electrified part 14 and the second electrified part 15 vertically interposing a work material 12, provides corresponding to these electrified parts the first and the second machining pulse power supplies 16, 17. The machine determines a value of resistors 21, 22 an 27, 28 in each machining pulse power supply 16, 17 so that the two machining pulse power supplies 16, 17 are respectively loaded with 1/2 times the desired electric discharge machining energy, accordingly the machine surely suppresses the maximum value of electric discharge machining currents I1, I2, output from each machining pulse power supply 16, 17, respectively to 1/2 times or less the required electric discharge machining current value I. |
