PURPOSE:To enhance printing quality, by a method wherein heating resistors are provided on a main glaze layer, and another glaze layer is provided while setting at least one of the projecting height, the length and the width thereof to be smaller than that of the main glaze layer. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of glaze layers 3, 4 are provided on an insulating substrate 1 while setting at least one of the projecting height, the length and the width of the dummy glaze layer 4 to be smaller than that of the main glaze layer 3. The dummy glaze layer 4 comes into contact with a thermal recording paper 2 only when the paper 2 or the substrate 1 is inclined, thereby preventing the paper 2 from making contact with an edge of the substrate 1, whereby paper scum is prevented from being accumulated, and formation of a lead wire pattern 6 is facilitated. |
