PURPOSE:To attain the effective utilization of a chip area and the improvement of the degree of circuit integration by forming the resistance unit in the folded form on the way and arranging both ends so as to be directed to one side of a resistor forming region. CONSTITUTION:A diffusion resistor 5 is constituted by one side 5A, the other side 5B and a connecting side 5C connecting each one end of both sides so as to form a U-shaped resistor having a serial resistance value of R. In using this resistor 5 as a basic diffusion resistor R of an R-2R type resistance ladder circuit, connecting points are collected to one side, and a connecing wire 2 forming a resistance value 2R, a connecting wire 3 for the R and 2R, and a connecting wire 4 for R and R are connected at one side and on one face of the U-shaped diffusion without being run in parallel with the sides 5A, 5B. Thus, other wiring 6 crossing onto the sides 5A, 5B is formed on the same level as the wires 2-4, thereby allowing effective utilization of the chip area and improvement of the degree of circuit integration. |
