PURPOSE:To prevent areas where error bits are unevenly distributed from overlapping with each other by making a storage cell in each array different in position for an address fed from the external. CONSTITUTION:A storage device consists of two storage cell arrays 21 and 22, row decoder circuits 23 and 24, column decoder circuits 25 and 26, and a logical circuit 27. The address sequence of word lines as outputs of the row decoder circuits 23 and 24 and the address sequence of bit lines as inputs to the column decoder circuits 25 and 26 are inverted between dual storage cell arrays 21 and 22. Consequently, the positions of storage cell at the same addresses of the storage cell arrays 21 and 22 are different for the decoders between the cell arrays. |
