PURPOSE:To increase the lower limit of a control input voltage range by maintaining the peak factor of the base voltage waveform of a switching transistor constant irrespective of the width of a conducting period. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor 15 is charged by a current flowed in a direction of a diode 16, the capacitor 15 and the secondary winding 13 of a transformer 11 during the OFF period of a switching transistor 4. This charge is not discharged during the ON period of the transistor 4, the lower side peak voltage of the base voltage waveform is clamped to the voltage reduced by the forward voltage drop of a diode 16 from 0V at the base electrode of the transistor 4. The upper side peak voltage becomes a voltage higher by the voltage between the base and the emitter of the transistor 4 from 0V. The lower and upper side peak voltages become substantially equal radio wave, and the peak factor of the mean value of the waveform becomes 50% of the entire amplitude, i.e., the center of the waveform. |
