A DC motor having magnetic field poles (42 - 45) made of ferrite permanent magnets and an armature rotatably arranged inside of the magnetic field poles (42 - 45), wherein the inner surface of the magnetic field poles (42 - 45) facing the surface of the armature are covered with thin iron plates (48 - 51).
